How to film a 5-minute walkthrough of your space on your phone
No crew, no editing. A simple shot list that shows us what a new patient experiences from the parking lot to the treatment room.
We work with clients remotely, so a short phone walkthrough is how we “visit.” It doesn’t need to be pretty. We’re looking at the experience, not the cinematography.
Before you start
- Film when no patients are around, or keep faces and screens out of frame. Never film patient charts, schedules or anyone without their permission.
- Hold the phone horizontally and walk slowly.
- Talk as you go if you like. A quick “this is where people usually wait” helps a lot.
- Aim for five minutes. Shorter is fine. A few photos work too.
The shot list
- Arriving. The street view, the parking, and the sign. Can a first-time patient find you easily?
- The entrance. The door and the first thing someone sees when they walk in.
- Front desk and waiting area. Where people check in and sit. Include any menus, price lists or promotions on display.
- A treatment room. One room is enough. Show it the way a patient sees it on their first visit.
- Anything you’re proud of. New equipment, a signature service area, the little details that set you apart.
- Anything you’d change. Be honest. These notes are often the most useful part.
Sending it
After you finish the intake, we email you a private upload link along with this shot list. Upload straight from your phone, no app needed.
Prefer not to film? Choose the 20-minute video tour in the intake and we’ll walk through it together on a call.
What we do with it
We compare what a new patient sees in person with what they see online: your website, your Google listing, your social profiles. When those match, people book with confidence. When they don’t, it shows up as hesitation, price shopping and no-shows. Your walkthrough helps us find those gaps.
